Jay Sincoff is a partner at Sincoff & Sincoff, LLC. He founded J. Mitchell Sincoff, CPA in 1982 and has over 45 years of experience in the accounting, business, and tax preparation sectors. Specializing in nonprofit and corporate tax preparation, as well as business compliance issues – Jay walks into his office every single day to do his duty – efficiently and accurately prepare not just taxes, but to analyze the practices and ethics that save clients the most money.
As a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Society of Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he has undertaken more than double the amount of professional continuing education credits necessary. In addition to being on the boards of numerous committees and a member of Chambers of Commerce across the Tri-State area, Jay is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and is certified in Microsoft Office and Accounting. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the States of New Jersey and New York.
Scott Sincoff is a partner at Sincoff & Sincoff, LLC. With more than five years of experience in accounting, Scott Sincoff takes the tax world by storm with a background as a broadcast meteorologist.
There are certain skill sets of broadcasting that are similar to accounting: applying logic and mathematics to help people; recognizing patterns to think critically and solve problems efficiently; and interviewing the public to better serve their needs. What excites him the most is helping someone every single day, whether through tax preparation or when severe weather strikes the area. Scott is currently finishing his education to earn his Enrolled Agent and CPA credentials.
In his free time, Scott loves to watch college sports, hike, eat, and explore the local music and theater scene. He is also an adjunct professor at Rutgers University and Fairmont State University. Scott lives in Burlington County, New Jersey, with his partner, Brandon – and their zoo of dogs, rats, and a gecko.
Emmanuel Correa – Bookkeeper
Emmanuel Correa brings a wealth of technical knowledge and experience to the Sincoff and Sincoff team! With more than two decades of experience in corporate and public technology, he is well-versed in Quickbooks, Microsoft, Linux, Adobe, and Xero. He has a strong ability for problem solving, analytics, and project management methodologies.
Emmanuel is well-versed in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and French. In his free time, he loves to cook and care for his family – especially his and his wife’s puppy, Teddy.
